GED® Testing Information

The GED Test is all multiple-choice, and an essay is required to be written. To obtain your General Educational Development (GED) in the state of Georgia, you must: (1) score a total of 2250 with a minimum of 410 on each subject test; and (2) have an average standard score of 450. If you have scored below 410 points on one or more of the individual sections of the exam, these sections MUST be retested.

The GED Tests are $19 per subject/test or $95 for all five tests (full battery). The five areas are Language Arts, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Literature and the Arts, Reading. Payment must be made with cash or money order. Personal checks are not accepted. You must present your valid state-issued ID at registration and test time. Your ID can be a license or state ID from any state.


Upon completion of your GED, you may qualify for a $500.00 Hope Voucher to help you continue your education!
