CTD REFRESHER COURSE - 499.00

This instructional course is designed for individuals needing a refresher course in Commerical Truck Driving.  Students will participate in classroom instruction, backing maneuvers, road maneuvers, Federal Rules and Regulation, trip planning and vehicle inspection.  A personal assessment of driving ability will be performed on each student prior to instruction.  The refresher training meets or exceeds the training requirements for most trucking firms.  You will need to provide a current Commerical Driver's license, certificate or certified documentation from an accredited driving school showing proof of professional instruction, current DOT physical (long form only), and a currect Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

ELECTRICAL RECERTIFICATION - $49.00

This course meets the 4 hour state requirement.

EPA Exam - Students $75.00 - Non Students $100.00

Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act requires that all persons who maintain, service, repair or dispose of appliances that contain regulated refrigerants be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques. The EPA has also placed a sales restriction on refrigerants, limiting the sale of regulated refrigerants to certified technicians only. Technicians who violate the Clean Air Act provisions may be fined, lose their certification, and may be required to appear in Federal Court. Home Inspectors Training Course - $995.00

Our online home inspection taining course, developed in conjunction with American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT), offers the premier training program  in the country.  AHIT's experience in the home inspection industry combined with its training experience make becoming a home inspector a simple process.  The AHIT support team has over 100 years of combined experience and will take care of students from the time they sign up for the course all the way through the establishment of a successful home inspection business. 

AHIT's step-by-step training coupled with the organization's marketing and technical support services deliver immediate applicable business methodologies to perpetuate the growth and continual development of the student's home inspection business.  AHIT will strive to help each student reach his or her full potential in the home inspection business.  AHIT will provide straight-forward, honest and helpful guidance with respect and accountability to the student's needs.

Every Mine Operator & Contractor must have at least 1 person per shift or per crew who is Medic First Aid and CPR Certified!  A Part 46 or Part 48 Training Plan is required prior to attendance of any Mine Safety Class.  Your Annual Refresher is due each year before the end of the month that you were trained in last year.  Class prices are per participant and pre-registration is required.  All classes begin at 8:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

OSHA 10 Hour class

The Office of Continuing Education at the Heart of Georgia Technical College offers the 10 hour General Industry Outreach Training Program to provide instruction on a variety of general industry safety and health standars to entry-level participants.  The required topics acount for 7 hours of the 10 hour program.  For the remainder of the 10 hour course, you may choose any other general industry standards and policies and/or expand on the required topic coverage.

Of the topics listed below, four (4) hours are mandatory and threee (3) hours must be chosen from the options provided.  This arrangement eliminates the need to explain substitutions made because a topic did not apply to an audience.

OSHA FORKLIFT SAFETY TRAINING - $119.00

For the experienced individual with good mechanical skills.  Students will become certified in areas covering subjects such as loading, pre-operation inspection, refueling and recharging batteries, etc.  Students with no prior experience will be required to complete a two day class prior to taking the final exam.

 

PLUMBING RECERTIFICATION - $49.00

This course meets the 4 hour state requirement.
