Tutorial Services
Free tutoring for the academic core courses and many program courses is available to all enrolled diploma or degree-seeking students. For more information, or to make an appointment, call Lydia Barfoot at (478) 274-7786 or email her. Students are encouraged to meet in study groups in the TRACS center whenever possible.

Services for Students with Disabilities
- Special needs counseling and support services are provided to qualified students with disabilities to ensure equal access to all programs and activities at HGTC. These services are available to those students who may need individual educational plans, assistive technology, specialized equipment or books, or referral services.
- HGTC offers these services and appropriate accommodations to assist students who apply and qualify for our programs and provide the necessary documentation to declare a disability. The Georgia Division of Rehabilitation Services can help with vocational evaluations, etc. It can be explored at www.vocrehabga.org or you can email them at rehab@dol.state.ga.us.
