Paramedic Technology

The Paramedic Technology program prepares students for employment in paramedic positions in today's health services field.  The Paramedic Technology program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.  The program provides opportunities to upgrade present knowledge and skills from the basic and intermediate level EMT to retrain as a paramedic.  Graduates of the program receive a Paramedic Technology Diploma and are eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certification exam.
