The Air Conditioning Repair Specialist Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) is designed to allow students to learn the basic principles of electrical and refrigeration and how they are applied to the field of refrigeration and air conditioning. Students will obtain hands-on training in phases of electrical and refrigeration as it is applied to the air conditioning system. Safety is also a major factor. While students are enrolled in the Air Conditioning Repair Specialist TCC, they will learn the proper safety training. Upon completion of this TCC, students should be able to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot air conditioning and heating systems to include heat pumps, gas systems, and air conditioning systems. The Air Conditioning Technology program is accredited by HVAC Excellence.
