The Air Conditioning Technician Assistant Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) is designed to allow students to learn the basic principles of refrigeration and air conditioning, brazing, Environmental Protection Agency Laws and information to take a proctor approved EPA exam. Students will obtain on-hands training in refrigerant recovery and also learn the different types of refrigerants available today. Safety is also a major factor. While students are enrolled in the Air Conditioning Technician Assistant TCC, they will learn the proper safety training. Upon completion of this TCC, students are eligible to take the 608 Air Conditioning exams. Cost is $75. The Air Conditioning Technology program is accredited by HVAC Excellence.
