The Basic AutoCAD Operator Certificate program prepares the student for entry level work as an AutoCAD designer or drafter. Almost every company that is involved with design and/or manufacturing has one or more design/drafting positions, and the majority of those companies use AutoCAD as their primary drafting tool.
AutoCAD software is used as the primary CAD tool, but introductory exploration in alternative software packages, such as Solid Works and Rhino, is also included.
