Student Email Accounts |
- Each student enrolled in credit classes is assigned a HGTC email account. High school students taking HGTC on-line courses are assigned email accounts.
- Email is one of the official means of communication with students. Students taking HGTC on-line courses must use their HGTC assigned email account.
- Students may access their account by going to the HGTC homepage (www.heartofgatech.edu) and clicking on the Heartmail link under Current Students.
- Students who have questions or issues with their email account should contact their program advisor if there is not a password change. Contact the IT Department at (478) 274-7721 for password change and security question.

STUDENT APPEALS FOR ATTENDANCE VIOLATIONS
- For class attendance violation, ONLINE or ONSITE, please email the Dean for Student Affairs Rick Swanson, within 48 hours of being withdrawn from your class.
- Or call Administrative Services at 478-274-7839 to schedule an appointment.
- Please write a letter stating reasons for absences, name of class, and instructor.
