Performance Accountability System (PAS) and Performance Accountability Review (PAR) are DTAE's system for

• promoting quality and excellence in technical education
• promoting quality and excellence in technical education and training
• evaluating the institutional effectiveness and efficiency of the programs
• evaluating the college's current performance against benchmarks and using the results for future planning.

Every three years the college is evaluated to be sure that it is following GDTAE standards and adhering to federal guidelines.

The last PAR visit at HGTC was held in July 2006.  The next visit will be held in 2009.
