CAMPUS STORE POLICIES

1. Unused balances of the HOPE GED Grant, HOPE BOOK Voucher & PELL will be refunded by check (from the HGTC Business Office) Note:  A balance remaining of $20.00 or less of the HOPE/GED Book Voucher will be cashed out with the student in the bookstore at the time of the transaction.
2. Course Drops/Adds/Withdrawals may modify grant awards as determined by the HGTC Financial Aid Office.  Student will be responsible for any remaining balances due.
3. A valid ID badge must be presented in the bookstore in order to purchase items against a grant.
4. Questions/problems regarding grant award(s) should be addressed to the HGTC Financial Aid Office located in the W. R. Stewart Building.
5. The following types of payments are accepted in the bookstore:  Cash, Check, Money Order, VISA and Master Card.
6. There is a $25 fee assessed for each check returned from the bank unprocessed.

Refunds/Exchanges

Exchanges and returns will be allowed if the following are adhered to:

*Books/Supplies may be exchanged/returned if they are not unwrapped from the original packaging or written in.  It is recommended that you verify with your instructor(s) that you have the correct books/supplies prior to unpacking.

*Exchanges will be made without question if the bookstore sells the incorrect book.

*A refund will be issued for the exact amount of the purchase due to a course drop/withdrawal if:

              *the book/supplies are not unwrapped from the original packaging

              *the book/supplies are not written in or on

              *they are in new condition

 *Original receipt is required on all sales.

*”Special Order” items, Vouchers and Electronic kits are non-refundable.

All returns/exchanges must be made to the HGTC Campus Store within ten (10) calendar days of purchase.
