Position Announcement

POSITION: Administrative Support Assistant, Adult Education (full-time) - Dublin Campus
EMPLOYMENT DATE: February 22, 2010 or as soon thereafter as possible
APPLICATION DEADLINE :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have obtained the level of high school graduate or equivalent AND have at least two (2) years of experience performing advanced level administrative support to an agency.  Experience in personnel, accounting and/or purchasing.  Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to applicants who have completed a formal training program from an accredited institution in the area of Business or Office Management or a related field AND at least two (2) years experience working with accounting, budgets, purchasing and/or the Banner Student Information System.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general supervision of the Dean of Adult Education, performs advanced and diversified administrative support duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and procedures in support of the department. Completes administrative tasks and special projects as requested not limited to the areas of personnel, budgeting and management of records.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month, Full-time position                         
SALARY:

Salary for this position is commensurate with experience, credentials and the Technical College System of Georgia Salary Schedule.
